Massive west ham supporter . great voice what's not to like . He was what rod Stewart wished he was . All the best singers in the 60s and 70s idolised him . But like so many genuises he destroyed himself .

From what i remember at Charlton 74 he played rhythm guitar very well
Great line up that day, The Who, Humble Pie, Lou Reed, Bad Company, Lindisfarne, Maggie Bell and Montrose
I think it was also the loudest concert ever
